MMTA SAT
Student Achievement Testing
SAT is an assessment tool designed by and available to members of the Michigan Music Teachers Association. This exam is administered annually for students K-12. There are 13 levels and 5 categories in which students prepare:

Performance - repertoire requirements dependent upon level

Aural Awareness - hear / identify intervals, musical patterns, and melody playbacks

Technique - technical skills, e.g., scales, arpeggios, intervals, chords

Sight Reading - transposition, harmonization, rhythm reading skills

Theory - written theory, definitions, forms, musical analysis, and history
National Federation of Music Clubs
Festival & Competitive Events
Since its founding in 1898, NFMC has become the largest nonprofit organization in America to promote and support American music, performers and music education.
NFMC brings together music clubs, organizations, and individuals to encourage, develop, and maintaining high artistic standards. They support community service and education through music and the allied arts. Additionally, NFMC promotes American music and American artists throughout the US and abroad.

In an effort to encourage excellence in musical performance and to recognize excellent teaching in the Metropolitan Detroit-Ann Arbor area, Schoolcraft College sponsors 3 Festival events each year in which students have the opportunity to perform and receive evaluations from a panel of judges.

Introducing Nataliya Kruglik, a seasoned Master of Piano Art from the Odessa National Academy/Conservatory of Music A.V. Nezhdanova, boasting over 35 years of professional experience. As a versatile pianist, accompanist, concertmaster, and educator, I infuse each performance and lesson with a blend of expertise and passion cultivated over decades in the field.
